Lenten Mite Boxes and Coin Folders

During Lent mite boxes will be given to the children of the church. The money they collect in the boxes goes to Episcopal Relief and Development, which is the international relief and development agency of the Episcopal Church in the United States.

Lenten Coin folders are also available. The money collected in the coin folders will be given to Operation Understanding, our diocesan mechanism to provide grants to parish-based outreach ministries throughout Central PA. During the Easter season, Operation Understanding conducts the Alleluia Fund Drive to raise money in support of many diocesan projects. Grant funds are disbursed in early June.

Mowing For Jesus!

Spring is nearly here! The grass and the weeds will be growing! We need two people per week. Riding mower, weed-whacker and fuel for both are in the church garden shed. The volunteer sign up sheet is on the usher's table. Choose a team to work with or just sign up and be assigned. Please be sure to include contact info, phone and email address. Also, indicate if there are times you cannot work (ie: vacations). For questions call Tim Fox at 564-3467.

Have you Pledged yet?

If not, there are pledge cards available at the usher's table in the back of the Church.

Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach

As we all deal with the continuing cold, please remember those less fortunate in our community. Wish lists for Community Outreach and the Hershey Food Bank are included in the bulletin and below with extra copies in the back of the church. However, anything you can provide would be appreciated, including your prayers.
Monetary donations are also accepted.

Make checks out to All Saints' Church and list either Love, Inc or Derry Township Food Bank on the memo line.

Your Parish Nurse, Ginger Giammattei, RN

CHANGE (continued):In conclusion, one way to stay adaptable to change is to continue to embrace change in your life. Getting into a "rut" in any area of our life is unhealthy and supports inflexibility. Small changes in our diet, activities, contacts and skills will all help to prepare us for the unexpected, unwelcome ones. And, choosing to make small, interesting changes is healthy for our brain. Trying new things or old things in a new way builds new brain cells and connections and keeps us resilient. So, embrace change even when it hurts!  www.mhaleb.org

Please remember your parish nurse as a resource during times of need. Let the church office know (717-533-2454) if you need to make contact with our nurse, Ginger Giammattei, RN.

Guard against colds and flu- use the anti-bacterial hand-cleaner dispensers near the office, kitchen and church doors.
